The idea
behind this List is to make available, in an easily usable format,
as many News Sources from and about Croatia, to a large cross
section of Croats and friends of Croatia around the world, so that
even those with marginal computer skills can access your News
Source. With the popularity of print media in
descendance it is time to make electronic media as accessible
as possible. By using website, one can avoid and/or minimize the
e-mail mode, thus eliminating “attachments” which are the primary
source of viruses and malware of all
kinds. Besides, it is a prevalent opinion among cognoscenti that the
e-mail saturation point is not far away. E-mail is becoming, more
and more, the weapon of mass distraction, causing tremendous losses
of time and productivity therefore the objective is to send less and
less e-mail, to prevent the personal and business communications
from chocking.

Izvora Vijesti.
Upotrebom
websites, smanjuje se i
cak izbjegava
upotreba e-maila,
eliminirajuci
privitke koji
su glavni
izvor virusa
i drugih stetnih
utjecaja.
Osim toga, postaje vise i vise
jasno da je
zasicenje e-mailom
pred
nama. E-mail
postaje oruzje
masovnog gubitka
vremena i
produktivnosti, zato
je cilj
slati sto
manje e-maila,
tako sprijeciti
od
zasicenja licnih
i poslovnih
komunikacija.
Internet
is rapidly bringing new challenges and issues with substantial legal
and social consequences (e.g.: net neutrality, internet
surveillance, purchase taxation, cyber warfare, online privacy and
other troublesome events). Because of internet’s global reach, we
are not far away of efforts and agreements among Countries to reach
a consensus in a form of a “Universal Internet Union”, not unlike
UPU (Universal Postal Union). The essence of Internet,
is in its centerlessness, semi
annonimous participation by millions of
people, rapid spread of news, irrelevance of geography etc. The big
question is how is Cyber-Croatia prepared to participate in those
difficult issues?

oporezivanje kupnje,
cibernetsko
ratovanje, online povjerljivost

Zbog svjetske
prosirenosti
Interneta, mi nismo
daleko
od mjera
i sporazuma medju
Drzavama da se
osnuje “Univerzalna
Internetska Unija”,
slicno kao
UPI (Univerzalna
Postanska Unija). Bit
Interneta je
u njegovoj
nefokusnosti, u polu-anonimnom
sudjelovanju
milijona ljudi,
brzom sirenju
vijesti, nevaznosti
zemljopisnog
polozaja itd.
Veliko
je pitanje
kako je
Cyber-Hrvatska pripremljena da
sudjeluje u
rjesavanju tih
teskih problema?
One
cannot take news media at the face value all the time. It is a
common perception that media received its accreditation as a Forth
Estate, on the theory that it represents the interest of people, as
opposed to those in Administration. Unfortunately more than often
their purpose seems to be not to tell the truth to powerful, but to
deliver lies to the powerless. One cannot trust even TV-News all the
time, because TV camera sees but doesn’t think. Therefore it is
essential to be informed from more than one side. Here is where the
purpose of this List comes in. Your participation on providing
correct information about your News Source is the very cornerstone
of the usefulness of this List to multitudes of Croats and friends
of Croatia worldwide.

u protivnosti
