This Croatian-American writer returns to the short

Novakovich is the winner of a Whiting Award, a Guggenheim
Fellowship, a National Endowment for the Arts grant, and an American
Book Award from the Before Columbus Foundation. A resident of central
Pennsylvania, he teaches at Penn State University.
